Although his family is native to Cherukupalle Mandal, Satya Prasad spent his childhood and schooling in Hyderabad. He completed his education from Anwar ul-uloom College, Hyderabad. Before entering politics, he was a successful real estate businessman operating around Hyderabad, which gave him practical experience in land and property matters.

Elected as MLA from Repalle constituency, defeating his rival with a strong margin. Began serving the people of Repalle.

Re-elected as MLA
Won re-election from Repalle, demonstrating continued trust of constituents. Also served as member of the Joint Committee on Library.
2024
Cabinet Minister
Won third consecutive term from Repalle. Shortly after, appointed as Cabinet Minister for Revenue, Registration & Stamps.
